I started JSG Legal because I kept seeing the same gap: small and mid-size companies face the same legal risks as the enterprise - contracts, privacy, security, AI - without the in-house resources to manage them.

My goal is to give clients the same caliber counsel I’ve provided at large technology companies, delivered with the responsiveness and clarity of a trusted advisor who knows exactly where you stand and how to move forward - steady counsel that helps your business stay on course no matter what’s ahead.

Jose Antonio Sesin is the founder of JSG Legal, LLC, bringing more than two decades of experience as a legal executive and privacy officer to businesses that need enterprise-caliber counsel without an enterprise-size legal department.
Jose has led corporate legal, privacy, and compliance functions through periods of significant growth and change, including negotiating high-value commercial agreements, building privacy and AI governance programs from the ground up, directing legal teams, and advising executive leadership and boards on regulatory risk, data security, and corporate transactions.
Jose holds three IAPP privacy certifications (CIPP/US, CIPP/C, and CIPP/G) and is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York. He is a published author and editor in privacy and AI governance law, with contributions to the IAPP’s California Privacy Law and PLI’s Fundamentals of Privacy Law, and edited one of the earliest practitioner texts on AI governance in 2012 - establishing him as a voice in the field more than a decade before AI became a standard boardroom topic.
